Our crack Attorney is forced to cancel a conflict resolution meeting between the Town of Southwest Ranches and Pembroke Pines because they are not in compliance with meeting notification laws.
In all honesty, is this town really capable of managing a $30MM contract with the federal government which provides immigration and removal services to ICE when you consider the reason for this is that they tried to fire the administrator and ultimately forced his resignation merely days after losing their fire contract with Pembroke Pines?
Why risk it?

Subject: RE: Proof of Publication for Conflict Assessment Meeting - Pembroke Pines
Thanks Mike. I just asked the Town for its proof of publication and apparently the Town failed to publish its notice as the Town Administrator left that same week and it slipped through the cracks. We have spoken to the Herald and the ad can get in tomorrow. Do to this discrepancy we will need to push off the assessment meeting until April 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Please advise if this date and time works for you. Of course the Town will republish Pines' ad as well at its expense.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
